Building comparison report

This Feasibility report has been created to assess the practicality of the proposed buildings and prove that the final project is viable before it is accepted by the client and prior to any works begin on site. The report proves that the project has completely been researched in all design and financial aspects. To complete the report, a variety of research strategies have been used such as newspaper articles, personal journals, original floor plans and elevations were provided to ensure that all calculations are correct. A photographic survey has been done by the creator and the feasibility report has carefully been put together to form a detailed report of the proposed buildings.

This report researches a variety of building based in greater Manchester like old mills, railways stattions warehouses and community centres which have been carefully researched and studied to focus on two buildings that are similar in floor plate sizes but are very different in their architecture, location and shape. The two building which have been chosen for further study are the Buddhist centre and Deansgate locks. Both these buildings are located in Manchester city centre and are a walking distance from each other.
