NMP Model Making

I have chosen the Deansgate locks building for my Negotiated major project, the building is located in Manchester and sits on the Rochdale canal. I made a 1:20 foam board model to help me visualise the space and see the building on a smaller scale.

I made the model and then adapted it to suit my design, so I pushed back the right arch and created a recess for the entrance. I also created a mezzanine level on the back of the ground floor to create extra space for my market. The model has allowed me to do quick photo montages in Photoshop to help me with my design.
