Today we had a very interesting virtual tour around the Steelcase space in Munich, Germany. The two connected buildings have been designed to connect everybody and to make all spaces multifunctional. There is lots of light and movable furniture to allow flexible working and group work which makes spending time in this space enjoyable and comfortable.

The building is very tech-savvy to allow privacy for the people working there as well as make their job easier. Some of my favourite things which were mentioned during our talk were:

-Lightweight honeycomb propylene plastic whiteboards

-Versatile space

-Collaborate spaces outdoor

-Work cafe

-Open space work areas

-Bookable individual rooms

-A continuous staircase that connects multiple floors

-Warm and natural colours biophilia is important as people feel much better in the space

We have been invited to visit Steelcase when the lockdown rules ease, I think this would be a nice trip to end the 3 years we have spent together with out tutors and peers.
