Visiting Panketh Group

this afternoon we visited Penketh Group in Manchester, we were given a tour by the lovely Hayley who is a project consultant here. Penketh is a commercial furniture and interiors design centre. They have some amazing furniture which has had so much thought put into them, it's amazing how multifunctional some of the items are such a table tennis table with built-in power, and a removable net so it can also be used as a conference table! It's amazing how design has developed over the last few years and that companies like Panekth are supplying these great and innovative designs to modern co working spaces and offices.

This visit has helped me a lot to understand the needs when designing a co-working space for the modern society. It's also great to know that Panketh offer work placament and have had students from our course and uni on placement the previous years after seeing how great they are, I will definetly be applying for placement here in a few weeks.
